Fused Materials

Doral Fused Materials Ltd (DFM) manufacture fused zirconia and fused alumina minerals which are in generated in electric arc furnaces by heating high purity raw materials to their fusion point (2100 ^oC for alumina and 2800 ^oC for zirconia). After cooling the fused products are crushed, milled, sized and packaged according to customer requirements. Silica fume is produced as a co-product form the manufacture of fused zirconia. A strong export focus has enabled DFM to expand production over the years to 26,000 tonnes of combined products. DFM prides itself as a consistent and reliable supplier of quality products.
